As Director of Manufacturing Engineering, Alex leads Fast Radius’ manufacturing engineering and costing teams, working to align his team’s strategy, processes, and execution with our company's goals. He focuses on the convergence between new product development and manufacturing, with expertise in a variety of manufacturing technologies including injection molding, additive manufacturing, sheet metal, and urethane casting. Before joining Fast Radius, Alex worked as a Global Project Engineer designing and launching new products for a global home appliance manufacturer and as a Design Engineer supporting the redesign of existing parts for injection molding. Beyond his role at Fast Radius, Alex has recently finished a master’s degree in new product design and development management and enjoys golfing, playing basketball, and running in his spare time.
